I had been a smoker for sixteen years. I would try to hide it and not tell people and I knew that it was not healthy for me, but I couldn't quit. I tried Welbutrin and that worked for about a year, but something stressful happened and I got off course. When I got pregnant I was able to quit, but four months after my son's birth, outside influences and people smoking around me made me go back to it. I told myself that I could smoke and then stop, but then it turned out that I couldn't. I tried to quit with cold turkey and I would be able to go without smoking for a day and then I would smoke again.

I did a search online and found A New Day Hypnosis on citysearch. Someone in my office had used hypnosis to stop smoking, so I knew that it could help me with quitting. I was a little bit hesitant to try the medications because of things that I've heard, so I wanted to try this first.

I quit after the first session and it was really instantaneous for me. I came in with an open mind, but I have been surprised that it worked as well as it did and as quickly as it did for me. It was pretty easy and that was really amazing to me. I noticed in the days after my appointment that I didn't have cravings, nervousness, or anxiousness to have a cigarette.

I've been tobacco free for five weeks now. Considering that smoking was part of my life for more than half of my life, cutting it out so easily has been really great for me. I went to the doctor and my blood pressure has gone back to the normal range. I feel like I have more energy and feel better about myself because I'm going to the gym and taking better care of my body. I feel more in control and I have some good tools to work with to get around situations that would make me want to smoke. I feel more confident because I don't feel like I have to hide something anymore. I like having the sessions to go back to and know that they will be there for me as long as I need them.

It's been really helpful to talk with Laura about the underlying reasons behind wanting to smoke. I understand now that it's more than just an addiction to tobacco. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis because it worked really well for me. I am confident that I am a nonsmoker permanently because I am really focused on my goals. I've come this far and I plan to continue with it.

I'd been smoking a pack a day for sixteen years. I felt out of control. I didn't like being dependent on cigarettes. It ran my life and I couldn't just put them down. I used Chantix for a month and a half, but I was taking Chantix and still smoking. I used the patch for seven days and I would take it off to smoke a cigarette. I was smoking less, but I was never able to successfully quit.

I heard about A New Day Hypnosis on citysearch. I decided that it couldn't hurt and I didn't have any qualms about hypnosis, so after I read the testimonials I just picked up the phone and called. I smoked my last cigarette on my way to my first appointment and noticed a change in my behaviors that night. My thought process was different. I've been a nonsmoker for two months now and I've haven't had a smoker's cough at all. I've been exercising for the first time since high school. I could never get on the treadmill before and now I'm doing it every week.

This has been remarkably easier than I imagined it would be. I didn't have to fight urges to go outside and smoke a cigarette. I worked on retraining my brain and applying the things that Laura was teaching me and I feel free because I'm not chained to the cigarettes anymore. I see things differently and think differently now. Hypnosis has eliminated 98% of urges and cravings. I thought that this would be a constant battle, but I actually went outside and sat next to my Dad when he smoked a cigarette and I had no desire to have one, it felt really good.

I feel better about myself because I'm free from that addiction and I'm getting myself healthier. The biggest benefit for me has been not smoking and knowing that I've done it. I'm just going to be healthier and it has lifted a huge burden off my shoulders. The process has helped me with way more than just smoking alone. Laura helps me see things in a different light and I would absolutely recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants to stop smoking because it has helped me. I know that I am a non-smoker permanently because I haven't had cravings and haven't wanted to smoke. I just feel totally confident in myself now and it feels really good.

I've been a smoker for the last 12-15 years. I didn't want people to know I was a smoker, so it was my dirty little secret. I was sneaking cigarettes and couldn't have them at work; I just obsessed about where I could go to get one. I was absorbed with how to get a cigarette for as long as an hour or two at a time. I got up in the morning and didn't feel good. I dreaded my days because I wasn't productive and wasn't getting anything done. I was irritable with my wife and she avoided me because I was crabby when I had to be in situations where I couldn't smoke. I tried to spend time on my own so that I could smoke and avoided going to the gym; I stayed home and smoked when my wife was gone.

I tried the patches and gum, but I was just masking the cravings until I ran out. My wallet got lighter, but I didn't notice a decrease in my smoking. I tried using rubber bands on my wrist and cold turkey to quit. I also tried making plans to be away from any situation where I would be tempted, but that didn't work either. I had no control over my desire to have a cigarette and I was at the mercy of the cravings. It was uncomfortable and depressing for me because I always thought that I could do anything that I set my mind to do, but I couldn't conquer this.

I heard about A New Day Hypnosis when my wife attended a weekend retreat and was referred to Laura. Years ago, I did group hypnosis to quit smoking and I thought it was just bogus and made up. I was skeptical, but I had no other alternatives. I wasn't a big believer in hypnosis, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it out.

After the first session, almost right away I noticed the change. I broke down once, but by the second session the cravings were gone and that was it. It was unbelievable for me. I've been tobacco free over a month now and it's been great. I'm running again and I get up in the morning and want to do things. Yesterday, I ran five miles just because I felt like it. Six months ago I would never have done that. I breathe easier and have more energy. I can do a lot more in a day than I thought I could.

I go to the gym and lift weights and I feel a lot more confident. I work out with all the muscle heads and I'm probably as big as one of their biceps, but I'm not embarrassed to be there anymore. I've wanted to gain weight and because of my exercise, I've gained nine pounds in the last ten days. My day doesn't revolve around cigarettes anymore and everything is focused on what I want to do. My focus and concentration have gotten better and my productivity has gone up.

Hypnosis has eliminated the urges, cravings, and desire for the cigarette. I was surprised how quickly the cravings went away. My father in law quit cold turkey thirty years ago and he still has cravings. The most important benefit that I've received from this process has been my relationship with my wife. Things were rocky and I had anxiety all the time because I was sneaking cigarettes. She knew I was sneaking and it put her in an uncomfortable position; there was a lot of frustration around that. My attitude has changed dramatically.

My wife wants to do more with me and our relationship had improved ten-fold, which uplifts the rest of my life. I go right through situations where I would have wanted a cigarette in the past and it doesn't even cross my mind now. Yesterday at work we were talking 7 and 8 figure numbers across the table. Normally, those situations would normally be major chain smoking sessions, this time it never even crossed my mind. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis because it works. I've tried pretty much everything and this was simple, painless, fast and cost effective. I've restructured my life and changed my lifestyle in a couple of weeks and accomplished what most people do in years or even decades. It's a miracle to me and it's just unbelievable. I have no doubt that I'm a nonsmoker permanently because I don't have a single craving.

I was a smoker for 18 years and I was smoking a pack a day. I tried to stop smoking with Chantix, but it only lasted about 13 days. It was a horrible experience because I had severe anxiety and panic attacks. I was crying uncontrollably all the time and it was awful. I thought it was side effects of the medicine, but I also tried to quit cold turkey and the same thing happened. I felt out of control and thought I was never going to be able to effectively kick this habit. Whenever I stopped doing it, it was so awful that I kept going back to it. It felt like quitting was impossible.

When I found out that I was pregnant I decided that it was time to quit. I looked up hypnosis on the internet and read the reviews on citysearch. It was one of the only methods I could use because of my pregnancy, so I decided to call. After the first session I felt different and I was calmer about the idea of not smoking. It felt more attainable and didn't seem so horrifying to me anymore.

I feel more in control now. I'm not feeling anxious or panicked. In fact, I'm not even really thinking about it anymore, it's just not an issue. I've been tobacco free for three weeks now and I'm feeling really good about being a non-smoker. Hypnosis made it a lot easier to ignore cravings and just move on.

I had no idea that I was going to get little therapy sessions on top of just learning how to quit smoking and that has been amazingly beneficial to me. Since I'm about to be a mom, it's been really great to work on some of the parent issues that I've never really dealt with. It's been good to be able to be aware of things and go in and fix some of that.

I feel so much calmer about things and it's all thanks to hypnosis. In fact, my mother was trying to bully me into buying a different type of car seat and I decided to just go ahead and get what I wanted. In the past, I would have been really upset and would have wanted to go out and smoke to deal with it. Now it was no big deal and instead of getting upset, I just didn't care and that makes me happy.

I would absolutely recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants to stop smoking because it is painless and it works. I don't think about cigarettes anymore and it's not an issue. This was the one thing I couldn't beat and I've finally beaten it, so I'm really thankful for Laura's help.

I've been a smoker on and off for 25 years. It had gotten to the point where I was coughing every morning. It was getting frequent and regular. It seemed like everyone at work knew someone who getting diagnosed with cancer and I didn't want that for myself. At times, I felt out of control. It was discouraging and shameful. I was a closet smoker and I was hiding it from my kids. It was disgusting and felt wrong. I wasn't proud and wasn't happy about it. My mother in law smokes and my kids would tell me that they were so happy that I wasn't smoking and that made me feel like a hypocrite.

When I tried to quit in the past, I was constantly focused on the cigarettes. I tried Welbutrin for a while because I wanted to quit to get pregnant, but after breast feeding, I went back to it. When I quit cold turkey it only lasted a couple of days. I did hypnosis before and was able to quit for a year, but eventually I went back to it. I think that going back to smoking after hypnosis had a lot to do with where I was in my life because it was four or five years ago. This time, I had a realization that I didn't want to be on oxygen and I didn't want my kids to have to take care of me. I knew it was time to quit.

I heard about A New Day Hypnosis on Citysearch. I liked Laura's picture and thought she looked like a nice lady, so I decided to call. I've been tobacco free for over a month now and it's been easier than I thought. When I got hypnotized before, I couldn't explain why it was working and I still can't quite figure out what it is, but it just works.

I notice that I don't have a smoker's cough anymore and my endurance is better. I feel more in control now and it's been a huge relief for me. I don't have to worry about my kids finding out and it's like a huge weight off my shoulders. I feel more confident, especially when stressors come up, because I don't need a crutch and I can get through things without wanting a cigarette.

The most important benefit for me has been the great feeling I have about being around my kids. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants to quit smoking because it has really worked for me. I've been a smoker for what seems like forever and if I can do it, anybody can. I know that I'm on the right track now. In the past, if something happened at work, I would go have a cigarette. Now, I know that the cigarette doesn't change anything about the way that I'm feeling. It doesn't feel like the right response anymore and that makes me feel really proud. I'm very pleased and I'm completely satisfied with everything that I've accomplished so far.

I've had trouble with confidence since I was five. Most people don't think I have a confidence problem, but the issues were really affecting my life. They were holding me back and keeping me from living a healthier life. I was a workaholic smoker who wasn't taking care of myself or really living. I was a shell of a person in a lot of ways and that felt out of control. I didn't make it a priority to nurture my creative side because I didn't think I would be good enough.

I'd read a lot about hypnosis, but I just wanted to see if it really worked. I was at the Austin Java Company and saw A New Day Hypnosis next door. A lot of the other hypnotists looked intense in their photos and some of them looked a little too uptight for me, but when I looked up A New Day online I decided to call because I liked Laura's picture.

I wasn't sure if it would be effective, but I started to feel a lot more confident. I'm really challenging myself again and I feel blessed with this process. I'm writing and I'm happy about it. I feel like I can take on a lot more stuff and I know that I'm not going to work 60 hours a week and feel so worried about money anymore. Stopping smoking was also really simple for me. It was literally "bam" and I walked out of the office and didn't want a cigarette. I can be around smokers now and it doesn't phase me. I truly feel free of it.

I feel like I've gotten more accomplished with hypnosis than I ever did in the last fifteen years with therapy. I just think that there is a lot to be said for not having to talk about the same thing over and over again. It's a different way to re-live an experience because I don't have to reveal everything. I'm tapping into myself and hypnosis gives me the chance to have the experience without having it exposed or unearthed in a way that isn't helpful.

I'm really paying more attention in my life. I feel like this has given me the chance to have more insight into what is really happening mentally, physically and emotionally. I feel a lot more in control. Before, I would get stressed and want to have a cigarette and that desire just isn't there anymore. I can shut the negatives off faster because I acknowledge them and step back as opposed to letting them completely consume me.

Laura's straightforward approach works for me. I like the way that she runs things and helps me to get to the core of the issue. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants to improve themselves because of my own experience. I've seen a lot of changes and I'm confident that I won't smoke again. I know that I need to nurture myself and I've gained some tools about how to check in and pay attention. I don't intend to let it slip and I plan to continue with my progress.

I was a 3 ½ pack a day smoker for 36 years and it made me feel out of control. I tried to cut down and that wouldn't work and it started to feel really bad. The cigarettes didn't taste good and I didn't like smelling like smoke. I was concerned about my health and I couldn't walk up the stairs without having to stop and catch my breath. Also, with price increases, I was spending 300.00 a month on my habit.

My habit controlled me and travel was difficult. When I got off of an airplane, the first thing I did was find a place to smoke and that was stressful for me. When I visited my brother, I stayed at a motel so that I could smoke. I couldn't sustain the nicotine overnight, so I woke up in the middle of the night to smoke. All I ever did with my free time was smoke and watch TV.

I've tried to stop smoking quitting cold turkey and also doing a smoking cessation program. I also tried the patch and it lasted about three hours. When I used the nicotine gum, I just took it out of my mouth and continued to smoke.

I made up my mind that it was time to stop smoking. I heard about A New Day Hypnosis through my doctor and I knew that I needed all the reinforcement that I could get to help me stop smoking, so I decided to schedule an appointment.

I noticed the change immediately and I've been tobacco free for 39 days now. I can now walk five flights of stairs without getting out of breath and my skin color has improved. People have commented that I'm happier and I feel more in control now. I have a greater sense of control about what I'm doing and now I realize how much I didn't do when I was smoking. Hypnosis has helped to eliminate the urges and desire to smoke and I feel confident because I believe that I can stay with my goal and not relapse. I'm doing everything I can to stay tobacco free and it's being reinforced, so that has been very useful.

Laura's questions have really helped me come up with new ideas about how to deal with things and she has helped me understand that I need to reinvent myself and find activities to do so that I can change my lifestyle. I hadn't ever thought of it that way and I can attribute this new way of thinking to my success. Hypnosis has enabled me to relax me and feel a lot less anxious. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis because it's been very helpful to me.

I was a smoker for fifteen years and was averaging around 1 to 1 ½ packs a day. I felt out of control. It's socially unacceptable to smoke and I felt like I had to hide in a corner whenever I was doing it. I really tried to cover it up and smell fresh and be more presentable. After work, I rewarded myself with a cigarette when I'd had a long day. It was really shameful. I thought I was in control because I was doing something that everyone didn't want me to do. When I got home, I would watch TV for five minutes and go outside to smoke for ten. I tried the patch to stop smoking, but I still smoked when I had it on. I'd never really put an honest effort into quitting.

I decided that I wanted to quit for health reasons, but wasn't sure what I could do. I heard about A New Day Hypnosis through a coworker and decided to call. I stopped smoking after the first session. I noticed immediately that I had more control of my mind and that it didn't have control over me. I felt more relaxed, energetic and a lot happier. I don't have to hide anymore and that's been such a relief for me.

I have been tobacco free for almost two months now. I can just be myself and not rely on a cancer stick to make me feel better. I don't have urges or cravings anymore and I feel more confident because my mouth tastes better and my breath is fresher. I've noticed that I care more about my appearance now and because I'm not wasting time smoking, I'm spending more time on taking care of me.

When I do hypnosis, I feel like I'm taking my brain on vacation. My mind is sharper and my thoughts are clearer because I have a different perspective. I have already recommended A New Day Hypnosis to different friends and coworkers who want to stop smoking because I know that it's a helpful service and it's a support system to retrain my brain. It's also been really fun for me. I'm confident that I'm a nonsmoker permanently because I know that smoking isn't good for me and that it's something that I can control now. I really feel that inside and in my heart I know that I'm done with it forever.

I'd been a smoker for fifteen years and stopped smoking immediately after my first session. I've tried every method that's out there. I've done gum and patches to avoid withdrawals because I didn't think very clearly with withdrawals; I was grumpy and it was hard to function. My big thing had always been that alcohol and cigarettes were tied together. When I quit in the past, I'd stopped drinking as well, but within a couple of times of drinking, I went right back to smoking. I noticed in social situations with alcohol that if I didn't smoke, my teeth would really start to hurt and that drove me crazy. I felt out of control. Personally, it was demoralizing to feel like that. It was impacting my self esteem.

There's a stigma with hypnosis and I thought of it as quackery, so I had some reservations about it. I'm not a new age person and my impression had always been that it would be all fluffy, so I was a little worried about trying it out. After I heard about A New Day hypnosis on yahoo.com, I decided to give it a shot and see what it was really like.

After my first session, I felt different about smoking than I've felt before; I wasn't worried anymore and I felt like it wasn't going to be an issue. It's been very easy. I haven't had to fight with myself and it's not in the back of my mind anymore. I don't feel that conflict that I've felt in the past.

I noticed that I feel better now and I can walk up and down the hill at my house a lot easier. I feel clearer mentally. I even noticed the first time that I drank beer I felt like something was missing, but I still didn't want to smoke. After that, it didn't bother me at all and I haven't had a cigarette in over two months now.

I feel more in control now and I know that I'm making better choices and doing the things that I want to do. I have a choice now and I don't have urges, cravings or desire to smoke.

I haven't gained weight and in fact, I've even lost some weight. I feel more alert now because I don't have the nicotine running through my system. I've recommended A New Day Hypnosis to people who want to stop smoking because it worked for me. I'm confident that I'm a nonsmoker because I've been in lots of social situations involving alcohol and haven't had any desire to smoke.

I was a smoker for eleven years. I was embarrassed that my car stank and always worried about running out of cigarettes or not having a lighter. I got tired of trying to find places where I was allowed to smoke.

Three years ago I stopped smoking because I was really sick and didn't smoke, and then I just continued from there. I had a personal conflict in my life and that's when I realized that I was really addicted to cigarettes. I decided to have a cigarette at a party when I was stressed and that was enough to continue smoking. I tried to quit after that, but it was very difficult. I would always think about smoking, it was so hard for me. At one point, my dad and I went to see a healer to stop smoking. My dad was able to quit, but I still couldn't.

I'd wanted to stop smoking for about a year when I saw a flyer for A New Day Hypnosis at Café Mundi. I had been thinking about trying hypnosis for years, but I'd never taken the initiative to find out more about it. I looked at the website when I got home and it seemed promising, so I decided to call.

I quit after my first session and I haven't had a cigarette in six weeks now. Hypnosis made stopping smoking much easier for me; it didn't feel hard at all. I used to always take smoke breaks at work, but after this it hasn't been hard for me to be at work and stay tobacco free. I've noticed other improvements as well, my throat is clearing and I'm breathing better. I exercise more and I'm eating much better.

I know that I used cigarettes to relieve stress, so now I'm learning other ways to deal with it. I find that I'm much better at expressing myself when I'm uncomfortable and sharing my frustrations with other people. I find that it's much easier for me to talk about situations that involve conflict with other people, which I didn't do before.

I feel free now and so relieved that I don't have to worry about having this addiction in my life. I feel more confident and know that if I can do this, I can do other things easily as well. It's had a really big impact on my life.

I've recommended A New Day Hypnosis to friends and coworkers because I want the people I care about to have the same freedom that I have now. I'm confident that I am a nonsmoker permanently because I have no desire to go back and I feel much more in control. I've come so far already and this is my chance, so I don't want to throw it away.
